Dear Brothers
and Friends of Prayer,
We thank you for your love, support, and trust in blessing Camp John 3:16 ministries. The Lord has used your donations to help us achieve our goals, and we give all the Glory to the Lord that the goals were met.
We thank the Lord we were able to achieve our most top priorities for the month of December; these events consisted of:
1. Sharing the Christmas message; that God gave us the Savior for forgiveness and salvation. It was attended by 75 children who heard the gospel as well as 42 adults.
2. To complete the Christmas season, we provided food for everyone; food such as tamales, sandwiches, spaghetti, and cake!
3. The children were also filled with emotion when they saw that we had piñatas (one for the older children and one for the younger children) with both full of sweets. They also enjoyed a few games and the Chicharrita clown show as well.
4. Out of compassion and mercy, we were able to give their families Christmas groceries that contained:
- 1kg. of sugar,
- rice, grain, oil, and beans,
- chocolate, snacks, and 2 types of cookies,
- coffee, milk, and 3 powder containers of juice,
- chili peppers, tuna, mayonnaise, and 2 types of pasta,
- bath soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and dish detergent!
It was a blessing to see the faces of happiness and gratitude in each child and their parents. Thank you beloved brothers and sisters in Christ for these beautiful gifts! Thank you for being among us in this holiday season.
We request your prayers for the following projects:
1. For the ministry of discipleship that we have with children and parents every Saturday.
2. For the construction of classrooms, bathrooms, and a septic tank in the camp.
3. For the next evangelistic outreach for children and youth in Holy Week.
4. Due to our personal economy, this year we started with only 10% of our livelihood. I pray that we may continue to build more relationships with our brothers and sisters who feel led to support us monthly for this next year.
We also pray for you.
We wish you a great start to the New Year, 2023, and that the Lord continues to keep and prosper each one of you and your families.
Sincerely in Chist,
Pastor Gama
