"For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen."
Romans 11:36
Dear Brothers
and Sisters,
I am always grateful to you for your love, prayers, and donations for the ministries of Camp John 3:16.
Recently, we were happy to inaugurate the pool that we had prayed for more than 10 years. I assure you that it is a great emotion to see children, young people and families enjoying the pool and especially during these months when the heat reaches up to 50 degrees Celsius in our area.
But I also share with you so much joy that a few weeks ago we held a camp for children and then another for young people. We thank the Lord for the salvation of many children and young people through these last camps. We were blessed with the help of two teams from Canada; Action International Ministries, a high school team from a Christian school in Moosejaw, and for a Youth camp from Westpointe Community Church in Grand Prairie. Without the support from you and these teams, it would be very difficult for us to carry out these camps whose purpose is to win lives for Christ.
During this time, I have been reflecting on everything that the Lord has done, in all these last 24 years, in our midst and together with all of you, or I could say for 45 years that the Lord called me for His work and I share it as a testimony and not out of vainglory. It is a privilege for me to see a third generation arriving at the camps. Today the Lord allows me to see grandchildren of the first lives who came to Christ through camps. 45 years ago I saw young people come to the camps and receive Christ as their savior, most of them serving the Lord today. 25 years ago I saw the children of that first generation also come to our camps and receive Christ as their savior. In this year 2024, the Lord honors me to see the children of the children of that first and second generation arrive at our camps.
That is why I am deeply grateful to all of you, nothing has been in vain to move forward and reach more lives for Christ.
Please continue to pray for these lives and for our camp ministries.
1. I ask for your prayers so we can have funds for the next summer camps. We need $2,000 to support children and young people with limited resources.
2. We also need your support to carry out phase 2 of building the pool, which is to be able to install a security fence around the pool, build a roof for shared and build bathrooms.
3. Please pray for me, a servant of Christ, for wisdom and for personal finances.
We also pray for you.
That the Lord continues to keep and prosper each one of you and your families.
Sincerely in Chist,
Pastor Gama
